What an honor it is for us to live in and live out the resurrection power of Christ Jesus!
I take this moment to welcome you to Northwood Christian Church (at least to our website!). We are part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a mainline Protestant denomination with a heritage of compassion, justice, and love for all people. NCC is a growing church comfortably seated in the heart of Meridian-Kessler. Everyone is welcome to worship with us, Sundays at 10:45am in our Sanctuary. Whether you have gone to church your whole life or this will be your first time, we would love to see you on Sunday...as in this Sunday!
A few things about us before you visit:
NCC is a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive congregation working diligently to follow Jesus with open minds, open hands, and open hearts. Our congregation reflects the blessed diversity of the Indianapolis area, thanks be to God.
We serve communion every week and all are welcome to feast at the table with us. Our unity around the table is a reminder of our oneness in Jesus. It doesn't matter what you look like, where you come from, how you vote, or who you call family.
Here at NCC, we encourage you to see yourself as a beloved child of God and a “co-conspirator” in building a more just & peaceful world.
And, if you come to worship, you will be reminded that “faith is a verb,” that needs to be carried out into the world because God's love, hope, and peace come to life in what we do outside the "four walls of this church!"
